Algemeen
Roland brengt de E-serie in het bereik van de absolute beginners, met de Roland E-X10. Deze kleinere variant van de eerder uitgebrachte E-X50 is aldus een makkelijk keyboard waar je een hoop plezier uit zult halen. Vele honderden klanken staan tot je beschikking, en meer dan 200 ritmes staan te trappelen. Starter-keyboards uit een ver verleden hadden nog weleens beperkingen qua polyfonie (meerstemmigheid) maar met de polyfonie van de 64 voor deze E-X10 is dat probleem verleden tijd. En eerlijk: wie legt er nou z'n hele onderarm op het klavier? Er is galm en chorus present, waarmee de klanken nog wat rijker worden. En voor wie niet de vingers van een concertpianist heeft is de aanslaggevoeligheid instelbaar.

Arrangeur d'entrée de gamme compact et assez facile à prendre en main. Les points à améliorer sont à mon avis, la lisibilité et le contraste de l'écran, la navigation dans les menus (une molette aurait était appréciée), le toucher des boutons qui ne répondent pas toujours rapidement notamment les flèches de la navigation, le son est un peu "métallique" et la tonalité des basses difficilement accessible, et les sons imitant divers instruments pas toujours fidèles.
