Focusrite ADN2 AD uitbreidingskaart voor Focusrite ISA One preamp
This interface card gives your Focusrite ISA one a digital interface.
-The card comes in a box protected by an ESD bag, including a clear install manual.
- The installation takes less than 5 minutes; unscrew the lid by removing 8 screws, removing the backpanel by removing 3 screws and install the module with the incuded 4 new (additional) screws. Connect the flatcable connector and close the enclosure. Handeling the electronics causes risk for ESD, so that's a smal thing to keep in mind.
- Initialising the card was easy by pressing Ext and turning on the device. The ADN2 was recognised instantly, also showing up in your Dante Controller window.
- All features can be controlled within the Dante Controller window, so there is no need to have the Focusrite REDNET software installed. If you do use REDNET then the device is also recognised in that software as wel, athough REDNET does not provide additional features.
- The card provides a stereo (L+R) DANTE ouput, as shown in DANTE controller. The Focusrite ISA One signal is send digitaly in mono over the Left channel.
- Note that the ADN2 AD output level is 'fixed'; there is no (software) output level control (gain/attenuation level).
This card is usefull for eliminating cabling between Focusrite ISA one and your AD/Soundcard, preventing possible noise injection and clarity filtering by the audiocable impedance & capacitance.
The sound quality of this ADN2 AD is very transpartant and clear.
It is pricy, but is it worth it!
