Algemeen
Er was eens een mysterieus tijdperk, ook wel bekend als de jaren 90, waarin een Engels bedrijf begon met het ontwikkelen van innovatieve en experimentele effectpedalen. Na een aantal jaren was het avontuur alweer voorbij, maar de creaties leefden voort in de muziekgeschiedenis dankzij artietsen als The Edge (U2), Jimmy Page, Radiohead, Gary Moore en vele anderen. Door de korte productietijd en de grote populariteit rijzen de kosten de pan uit op de tweedehandsmarkt. Gelukkig is er een oplossing: De JHS Cheese Ball.
Lekker smullen met de Cheese Ball
De JHS Cheese Ball is een fuzz / distortion met de gebruikelijke regelingen voor volume, gain en tone. Daarnaast zit er een extra mode-knop op, waarmee je kunt kiezen voor vier verschillende sounds. Off geeft je een heldere trashy klank. Stand 1 geeft je een mid-scooped klank, die doet denken aan Big Muff. Liever een mid-boost om door de mix heen te knallen? Ga dan voor stand 3. Tot slot is er stand 4 voor een extreme gated fuzz klank. Kortom, JHS biedt met de Cheese Ball een breed inzetbaar effectpedaal met meerdere authentieke klanken.

Goede Fuzz pedaal : het blijft altijd fuzz maar je hebt veel richtingen die je kan uit gaan dankzij de regelaars. Stutterend velcro achtig, meer richting distortion, .... Maar altijd met een eigen fuzz karakter.
Een goed evenwicht tussen wat meer experimentele fuzz en beter verteerbare fuzz. Ideaal om fuzz op verschillende manieren in te zetten in songs.
