Algemeen

Betaalbare snaren voor je elektrische basgitaar vind je ook bij Ibanez. De IEBS4CMK is een setje van 4 nickel wound snaren van een degelijke kwaliteit. Het setje is speciaal ontwikkeld voor de miKro basgitaar, een basgitaar met een scale van slechts 28,6 inch. Maar uiteraard kan je het ook gebruiken voor andere short scale basgitaren. Dankzij de coating gaan deze snaren extra lang mee. Zweet en vettige vingers hebben immers minder invloed op de snaren. Om een heldere en toch warme en volle klank te bekomen is dit setje snaren ideaal.

There are few if any off the shelf options regarding replacement strings for the Mikro. So l ordered strings of the original type .They took a while to arrive so maybe suppliers struggle with availability.

When they did arrive l fitted them immediately and was struck by just how bad my old strings had become. They were in fairness the original strings that came with the bass from new .
The new strings are bright and clear and are steadily losing the twang they had when first fitted .
They hold tune very well .
Overall ; while l would like the opportunity to experiment with other makes or types of strings , being limited to the original fitments is certainly not a problem.
