Algemeen
De DTC-1E is een smaakvol afgewerkte D-14 Fret flattop uit de 1 Series van Sigma Guitars met alle klankmatige voordelen van een massief bovenblad van sitka sparrenhout en een handige cutaway voor het hoger spelen op de hals. De rijke en resonantie akoestische klank van deze dreadnought wordt aangevuld met een extra accent in het middengebied door tilia achter- en zijkant en een zoetige houtachtige afronding in het hoog door met name de mahonie hals. Deze gitaarhals speelt door z'n lage halsprofiel comfortabel tot aan de hoge frets bij de eerdergenoemde cutaway. Om deze elektrisch-akoestische westerngitaar duidelijk en divers genoeg te kunnen uitproberen, levert Fishman een Presys II preamp met een 2-bands EQ en een fase-regelaar. Met het ingebouwde stemapparaat kun je altijd goed gestemd van start gaan.
