Algemeen

Deze elektrisch-akoestische Celebrity Standard Plus laat meteen horen waarom Ovation zo’n uniek hoekje in de gitaarwereld bezet. Niet alleen door de karakteristieke bolle achterkant, waar Ovation om bekend staat, maar ook door de manier waarop de Lyrachord body de klank vormgeeft. Helder in het hoog, strak in het laag en lekker ‘in your face’. Het bovenblad van deze westerngitaar, gemaakt van geselecteerd top-hout, werkt samen met de speciale X-bracing. Deze geprofileerde bracing verdeelt de trillingen efficiënt over het bovenblad, waardoor deze beter resoneert en de gitaar open en gecontroleerd klinkt. In combinatie met de cutaway, soepel spelende Nato hals en de Ovangkol toets, is het zeer comfortabel om met deze Ovation hoog op de toets te spelen.

Het beste van twee werelden

Het praktische aan elektrisch-akoestische gitaren is, dat je het beste van twee werelden krijgt. Zowel de natuurlijke klank en het intieme karakter van een akoestische gitaar als de flexibiliteit van een versterkte gitaar. Dus kom je volume tekort? Geen probleem. Uitversterkt is de Celebrity Standard Plus even overtuigend als akoestisch. De CP-100 Slimline pickup pikt je aanslag detailrijk op en de OP-4CT voorversterker geeft je uiterste controle via gain, bass, middle- en treble regelaars. En wat moet een gitarist zonder stemapparaat? Ook daar heeft Ovation aan gedacht met een handige ingebouwde tuner, zo is snel stemmen een fluitje van een cent! Naast de opvallende bodyvorm geeft de prachtige Cognac Sunburst Gloss afwerking deze gitaar die unieke look. Evenals de abalone accenten inleg, bij het rozet. Ovation laat zo subtiel zien dat het hier om een premium model gaat. Alles bij elkaar is de Ovation Celebrity Standard Plus een gitaar met een uniek karakter, ontworpen om moeiteloos tussen akoestisch en elektrisch werk te schakelen.
