Algemeen
Zoek je een pitch shifter en octaver voor je basgitaar die je een studiokwaliteit-waardige tracking biedt, maar je ook nog eens de meeste bruikbare intervallen biedt? Laney doet dit met deze Black Country Customs The 85 stompbox. Met knop linksonder kun je sowieso een octave omlaag erbij draaien, terwijl je je originele toonhoogte inregelt met de direct-potmeter. Omdat dit een Tri-Mode effectpedaal is, kun je met de mini-schakelaar vervolgens kiezen uit een helder hoger octaaf, die ronkende sub-sound die je 2 octaven lager vindt of een reine kwint omhoog voor die synth-achtige powerchord-klanken. Heb je dit alles volledig ingesteld naar eigen inzicht? Dan kun je totaalsound nog een extra sausje meegeven met de focus-draaiknop. Jij bepaalt hiermee zelf hoe meeslepend groots of punchy en funky je elektrische basgitaar gaat klinken. De enige grens hierbij is je eigen muzieksmaak.
