Algemeen
Met een akoestische bas kan je oefenen waar en wanneer je wil, zonder dat je altijd die - vaak zware - versterker moet meeslepen. Maar het onversterkte geluid draagt niet altijd even ver bij repetities of optredens in groepsverband, dus dan is het wel zo handig dat je alsnog kan inpluggen. Deze Ortega Deep Series D8CE-5 Acoustic Bass biedt beide opties, en je krijgt er meteen de veelzijdigheid van vijf snaren bij. Deze 5-snarige akoestische basgitaar heeft een body en hals van mahonie, met een sparren bovenblad dat afgewerkt werd met een zwarte satin finish voor een stijlvolle look. Witte ABS bindingen zorgen voor een contrastrijk accent en de goudkleurige Die Cast stemmechanieken maken het plaatje compleet. Zoals gezegd kan je deze bas akoestisch maar ook versterkt bespelen. De Ortega MagusPRO/B preamp heeft volume- en toonregeling aan boord en je kan ook altijd en overal stemmen dankzij de ingebouwde tuner.

Took a bit of a gamble on this bass as I couldn't find a supplier that I could test it before buying.
The gamble definitely paid off. Love the feel of this bass, action is great and it plays really well. The ace is definitely Ortegas new pre amp, absolutely incredible sound! Such a warm tone and incredible bottom end. Equal distribution of sound over all the strings (which can be rare with 5 string acoustic basses). Hot of the heals from playing a gig with it- no feedback issues AT ALL!
Would highly recommend this bass, delivery was a bit slow but this line wasn't in stock and had to be ordered from the supplier- BAX kept me updated all through the process, so couldn't fault them at all.
