Roland V-1HD videomixer
This is the best HDMI (HD, up to 1080p) real time mixer in the market. It works flawlessly and it is very capable. We use it in our audio visual project to create multilayering by mixing multiple sources: a first laptop (producing visuals in real time with our own software), a second laptop (running more traditional VJ application) and live camera's.
Besides the quality of the mixing what it sets it apart is that it can be MIDI automated. From Ableton Live we synchronise the all rig via MIDI and the V1HD is automated too: scene selection, faders. This way it is possible to switch quickly but also to create transitions, movement and so on.
At this time no other product matches this functionality.
