Ratio tuners are fantastic. They just feel so natural to use. They're expensive - but it's a one-off cost, and means that every string change is quick. Additionally every time you tune it just feels better - and if you want to change your tuning - e.g. drop tuning, then it's a doddle, as one turn is a semi-tone. I wish these were cheaper, but I was lucky enough to get a b-stock set which were basically as-new apart from having been opened and then resealed.
