Algemeen
De Innox RP SHELF-1 is een inlay met daarin diverse strategisch geboorde gaten. Het idee is dat je hier apparatuur op kunt schroeven die je graag in je 19 inch rack wilt, terwijl de apparatuur zelf geen rackmodule is. Voor sommige producten zie je nog wel dat er rackoortjes bestaan, maar dat geldt zeker niet voor ieder product. In dat geval ben je geholpen met de RP SHELF-1. Let er wel op dat je met een inlay als deze het risico loopt dat de totale hoogte hoger uitkomt dan 1U, ook als het erop te monteren apparaat van zichzelf precies 1U hoog is. Ergo, als je niet een rack-case hebt maar gewoon een open rack, plaats deze inlay dan bovenaan zodat je geen units kwijtraakt.

In case this exact info happens to be useful to anyone else, as of writing this, this shelf does not have the proper perforations to match a Roland SC-55mkII front rubber feet screws, that *might* apply to other units around that range as well, but I wouldn't know.
1. The mkII can still be mounted by using the two hind rubber feet screw holes, which line up perfectly with the far end of the shelf and can be used to prevent it from sliding back on or pivoting in the shelf, because
2. The mkII's center case screw does line up with the center perforation slide bar on the shelf and the thread could be used to mount.
However, I had to replace the case screw with a slightly longer screw I had laying around (was M3 threading, I believe), as the mkII's own center screw couldn't reach
Otherwise this rack shelf is solid, well enough finished for the price point and will do it's job for a decent while, I suspect.
