Yamaha LG-800 stand voor 88 toetsen keyboard/piano
This stand is quite expensive, but was a big disappointment. The metal bars under the piano collide with the user's lap. When the keys are 72 cm above the ground (the standard piano height) the stand cannot be used. We had to raise the stand to the second position, giving 76 cm height that required us to elevate the piano stool for playing. The user's lap then slopes downwards, making it possible to sit behind the keyboard and use the pedal. This is not ideal, and is increasingly uncomfortable after a hour or more of playing.
Another problem is the wobble. The keyboard sways left and right with moderate playing. Don't even consider trying Lizst or Rachmanoniov, to say nothing of rock or heavy metal.
The stand, ostensibly designed for the CP88 stage piano, did not fit. The piano feet were too small for the holes, so that the piano easily slid around on top of the stand.
We do not recommend this stand. It was most certainly designed by an engineer who had never played a piano. Yamaha, take note: This product is unfit for purpose. Remove it from the market and save the reputation of your brand.
