Supro 1820RBC Delta King 10 Combo BC Black & Cream gitaarversterker combo
Super little amp. Got it via Bax-shop. I was looking already for a long time to get a good-sounding versatile little amp that I could use @ home. I was dissappointed with my previous attempts:
- fender greta : just a gimmick
- Vox AC4C : very limited dynamics - boxy sound - boring - even tube switching didn't really help
- HB Tube15 12": good for the price I paid but then again a quite 'harsh' sounding amp - didn't bother changing tubes here
And so now this Supro DeltaKing 10: the best I've heard/had so far - just using the stock tubes - you can get all kinds of different tones/sounds - from nice mellow cleans to some serious distortion just by playing around with the knobs/volumes - all still on relatively low levels to not disturb your neighbours too much... I would certainly recommend it. It is 150-200€ more expensive than the ones I mentioned, but it is worth it - I wish I had done it earlier - tube switching in the Vox got me into the same price range...
One little downside: tone controls are only treble/bass - midrange is not included - although it doesn't bother me as turning down the bass clears up the sound quite well...
