De Latin Percussion CP Sleigh Bells is een stok met daaraan 25 belletjes bevestigd. Deze 'jingle bells' van dit geliefde Amerikaanse kwaliteitsmerk produceren dat typische Kerstmis-geluid. Maar natuurlijk zijn die rijke, sprankelende klanken net zo goed te gebruiken in elke andere maand van het jaar. De Latin Percussion CP374 doet het met zijn relatief hoge volume goed in grote zalen en in de buitenlucht.

Deze zochten we nog om kerstliedjes écht tot kerstliedjes te maken. Hij prikt overal doorheen en is mooi stevig.

This thing is huge!!! Okay admittedly I didn't look at the dimensions before buying, but this is by far the largest set of sleigh bells that I've come across! Due to the number of bells, this has a great sound - remarkably well-balanced and an amazing amount of sustain/decay. I've recorded it through three microphones - a Rode NT1A, an AKG C3000, and a Neumann TLM107 (each through a Neve 1073) - and I have to say I prefer the sound of the C3000. The NT1A sounds incredibly harsh (to the point of not usable), the TLM107 okay but a little brittle (can work with some coaxing), but the duller C3000 creates a much more overall pleasing balance. Would recommend.
