Algemeen
De Death By Audio Absolute Destruction doet precies wat de naam beloofd. Dit effectpedaal heeft totaal geen respect voor de normale klank van je instrument, want deze stompbox is ontworpen om een zo extreem en dik mogelijke fuzz sound voort te brengen. Met de slider kun je de mate van gain instellen. Zo ga je van een steeds dikkere fuzz naar opbloeiende octaven. Zet de schuif helemaal open en het signaal begint zichzelf op te eten. Het resultaat? Absolute Destruction!!

Dit pedaal is niet voor de liefhebbers van traditionele fuzz (, maar wel voor liefhebbers van "noizy" soorten fuzz!).
Als men de slider voor gain op 1/3 instelt (vanaf links gezien), en de slider voor overload op 1/3 instelt (let wel: vanaf rèchts gezien), verkrijgt men een prettig gestoord fuzzy geluid, waarbij, tijdens het uitsterven van het zojuist voortgebrachte geluid, de indruk wordt gewekt, dat de boel op instorten staat.
Wie wil dat nou niet.... :-)

Onwijs ruig klinkende fuzz. De overload slider is heerlijk om dingen te heftig over hun nek te laten gaan. Ik vraag mij alleen tot op een bepaalde hoogte af of de levensduur van de sliders lang genoeg gaat zijn. Ze voelen solide aan, maar ik kan mij voorstellen dat er via de sleuven toch vuil oid in het pedaal terecht kan komen. We gaan het zien.
