De Gibson Les Paul 1958 Custom Shop 58 Historic R8 VOS Ebony 2011 is een zeldzame parel onder de elektrische gitaren. Deze gitaar is een waar collectorstuk, dankzij de beperkte oplage en de opvallende Ebony V.O.S.-afwerking. De romp is opgebouwd uit een 2-delige esdoorn top en massief mahonie, zonder gewichtsbesparing, voor de authentieke '58 klank en feel. De chunky C-vormige hals is van mahonie en voorzien van een Indian rosewood toets. Dit model biedt een 24.75 inch mensuur, 22 smalle/tall frets en een authentiek jaren-vijftig gevoel door de vintage patina nitrocellulose finish. Dankzij de Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers beschik je over die warme, dynamische sound die de vroege 'Bursts' zo geliefd maakt. Elk detail klopt, tot de Kluson stemmechanieken, no-wire ABR-1 brug en met zorg gekozen hardware aan toe.
