Met deze Lakland Skyline 55-01 Deluxe Natural Gloss Spalted Maple Top maakte Lakland een 5-snarige elektrische basgitaar die veelzijdigheid koppelt aan een mooie, naturel look en een hoge graad van afwerking. De body is van essenhout en kreeg een Natural Gloss finish die de karakteristieken van het hout prachtig naar voren laat komen. Dit Deluxe model kreeg bovendien nog een esdoorn top met extra tekeningen (spalted maple). In combinatie met de palissander toets en de zwarte hardware zorgt dat voor een elegant design dat rust en warmte uitstraalt. Wat geluid betreft kan je met deze bas echt alle kanten op, van funky slapping tot volle, diepe baslijnen. De twee Bartolini MK-1 split-coil soapbar pickups en de ingebouwde actieve preamp geven de bassist een brede waaier aan mogelijkheden en vooral ook de volledige controle. Met draaiknoppen voor volume, blend en 3-bands toonregeling ben je ten allen tijde baas over je sound, en zo hoort het. Ook wat speelcomfort en stabiliteit betreft is deze Lakland Skyline 55-01 een echte hoogvlieger: de hals werd afgesteld met de PLEK-techniek, waarbij men gebruikmaakt van een gedetailleerde scan en geautomatiseerde precisie.

- De actieve preamp biedt uitgebreide mogelijkheden wat toon betreft.
- Deze bas werd in Duitsland zeer accuraat afgesteld met een volautomatische PLEK-machine die werkt met een volledige scan van hals, toets en frets.
