Het eerste dat in het oog springt bij deze Lakland Skyline 44-64 Custom Ice Blue Metallic Gloss is natuurlijk de elegante look, met een P-model essen body die afgewerkt werd met een Ice Blue Metallic gloss finish en een white pearl slagplaat. De matching headstock en chrome hardware maken het geheel af, samen met de block inlays in de esdoorn toets. Deze bas straalt rock ‘n roll uit, en ook de sound sluit daar perfect bij aan. Met aan de ene kant een moderne Lakland NeoPunch Split Coil pickup en bij de brug een Vintage Wound J element, combineert deze Skyline 44-64 strakke punch met een klassieke, diepe bassound. Als bassist behoudt je ten allen tijde volledige controle met de drie potmeters: eentje voor toon en de twee anderen voor het volume van de respectievelijke elementen. Een ook wat stabiliteit en speelcomfort betreft zal deze bas niet teleurstellen: de hals werd namelijk tot in de puntjes afgesteld door W-Distribution in Duitsland, ze gebruikten daarvoor een PLEK-machine die werkt met een gedetailleerde scan.

- Deze bas werd in Duitsland zeer accuraat afgesteld met een volautomatische PLEK-machine die werkt met een volledige scan van hals, toets en frets.
