Algemeen

De CE48 is een Super Shallow uitvoering van die bekende elektrisch-akoestische Roundback gitaren uit The Celebrity Collection van Ovation. De ronde achterkant van het vertrouwde Lyrachord kunststof-composiet zorgt niet alleen voor een helder hoog, maar de bassen komen tegelijkertijd strak en gebalanceerd naar voren. Doordat deze achterzijde minder bol is dan bij de reguliere exemplaren, is deze Celebrity westerngitaar uitermate geschikt voor op het podium. Wanneer je hem aan je gitaarband hebt hangen, zit het bovenblad van massief sitka sparren hout dichterbij. Hierdoor kunnen onder andere elektrische gitaristen gemakkelijker overstappen naar akoestische gitaar.

CE48: smaakvolle looks, duidelijke losse noten & een krachtige uitversterking

Ook heeft deze elektrisch-akoestische Ovation geen standaard klankgat, maar het speciaal ontworpen multi-sound hole design met die fraaie, vertrouwde versieringen er omheen. Naast dat dit er bijzonder smaakvol uitziet, zorgt dit er eveneens voor dat enkele aanslagen noot duidelijk naar voren komt in ieder speelsituatie. Voor krachtig versterkte gitaarklanken heeft deze CE48 Celebrity Elite een piëzo-element en OP-4CT preamp met 3-bands EQ aan boord. Ook zit er in deze voorversterker een handig ingebouwd stemapparaat. De aangenaam voelende mahonie hals met zijn 10 inch ovangkol toets speelt gemakkelijk weg. Daarnaast zorgt de kortere 25.3 inch mensuur voor een prettig lagere snaarspanning.
