Algemeen
Erg bijzonder: dat kun je deze ketelset wel noemen. De Tama Superstar Hyperdrive Duo Snare is namelijk een 5-delige shellset, met een snaredrum voorzien van floortompoten! De rest van de set bestaat uit een 22 x 16 inch bassdrum, twee rack-toms van 10 x 6.5 en 12 x 7 inch en een 16 x 14 inch floortom. De gehele ketelset is voorzien van een fraai gelakte Satin Burgundy Vertical Stripe afwerking.
Tama ML52HBN2+H-SGV Superstar HD Duo Snare SGV 5-delige shellset
Alle toms, inclusief de duo snare, zijn gemaakt uit esdoorn (ofwel maple), bestaan uit 6 lagen en hebben een keteldikte van 5 mm. De basdrum bestaat uit 8 lagen en heeft een keteldikte van 7 mm. De racktoms hang je op de bekkenstatieven door middel van het Star-Cast mounting systeem en twee Tama MC69 tomhouders. Alle ketels zijn voorzien van de Sound Bridge High-Tension lugs, zwart vernikkelde hardware, Die-Cast hoops en Power Craft II drumvellen (met uitzondering op de Duo-snare)
Tama Duo-snaredrum
De 14 x 10 inch ‘Duo Snare’ is natuurlijk wel de eye catcher van deze shellset. Door de diepe ketel kan je de snare op meerdere manieren gebruiken: uiteraard met de snarenmat uit als een 14-inch floortom, met de snaremat aan ook gewoon als je ‘main’ snaredrum, side snaredrum, of op de plek waar normaal je floortom staat. Ook krijg je in deze set de benodigde hardware om dit te doen! Het bijgeleverde Tama HB5W Iron Cobra 200 hardwarepakket bestaat uit twee bekkenstatieven met arm, een snaredrumstatief, een hihatstatief en een enkel Iron Cobra bassdrumpedaal.
