Algemeen
De Stentor SR1441 uit de Harlequin serie is een akoestische altviool, die compleet wordt geleverd met een brazielhouten strijkstok en een praktische softcase met schouderriemen en een partituurvak. Met dit model trek je gelijk de aandacht, want er is gekozen voor een opvallende kleurrijke afwerking. In tegenstelling tot een standaard viool heeft een altviool een lage C-snaar in plaats van een hoge E-snaar. Hierdoor leent de altviool zich uitstekend voor begeleidende partijen. Dit maakt de Stentor ST1441 gelijk een goede keuze voor beginners die graag op een relatief eenvoudige manier met andere muzikanten willen samenspelen. Saillant detail is het lichtgewicht staartstuk met vier fijnstemmers, waarmee je deze altviool eenvoudig op stemming kunt brengen.
